Ordering
We can only accept a certain amount of orders per week, this amount may vary due to the complexity of the orders and although we try to accommodate late orders it is not always possible, so to avoid disappointment please get in touch as soon as possible and save your date with a deposit. See the section below for further details on deposits.
When ordering please make sure to give the date you want to collect your order
as this is not always the day of your event.

Payment and Deposits
Celebration cakes/Cupcakes- A £20 deposit will be required within a week of ordering to guarantee your preferred date and then final payment can be made either before collection or when you come to collect but no later.
Wedding cakes- A 25% non-refundable deposit will be required within a week of ordering your wedding cake to save your preferred date. The remaining balance will be required no later than 28 days before the delivery date.
The deposit must be paid before any work can commence on the order unless otherwise stated by ourselves.
We accept payments by cash or bank transfer only.
Celebration cakes/Cupcakes- A £20 deposit will be required within a week of ordering to guarantee your preferred date and then final payment can be made either before collection or when you come to collect but no later.

Wedding cake taster meeting
Our wedding cake prices include a taster meeting for up to two people to try a selection of our cake flavours. You are more than welcome to bring someone else with you but any extra taster plates will incur a charge.
These meetings take place at our home in Wakefield, West Yorkshire, its also a chance for us to discuss your up coming wedding and finalise details.
If you require a taster meeting before booking with us this will be at the cost of £20 which would then be deducted from the price of the cake if you choose to go ahead.

All our cakes are made to be eaten on the day of your event as our cakes are fresh and do not contain preservatives. Any uneaten cake can be stored in an airtight container and eaten at the customers discretion.
We do not advise storing cakes in a fridge as this can affect the overall quality of the cake, it is best to store in a cool dry location preferably in the box they were supplied in.

Non-Edible items
Your order may contain non-edible items such as:
food safe dowels, ribbon, fresh flowers, plastic posy picks, wires or toothpicks in sugar flowers etc..
These items must be removed before the cake is cut and served, we will inform you of such items when the cake is collected or the information will be passed onto the venue for wedding cakes.
Please note not all fresh flowers are suitable for decorating a cake so if you are supplying your own flowers for us to attach we will not be liable for any contamination to your cake that may arise from this.
It is always best to speak with your florist about the flowers toxicity.
Your order may contain non-edible items such as:

We aim to match colour requests made by our customers for icing or decorations for example ribbon as closely as we can but we cannot guarantee an exact match due to some colours presenting differently in various materials.
If a chosen colour is no longer available at a supplier we will endeavour to find a replacement, where this is not possible we will contact you directly to discuss an alternative.
We try our best to accommodate alterations to an order but please note alterations may incur an extra charge and this will be added to the outstanding balance. No alterations can be made within 28 days before delivery/collection.
